From the training grounds and streets of New York City (Ladder 15), to Old Forge (Ladder 93) and finally to the Citizens, Tower 456 has seen its share of duty.  With its 75' boom and over 200' of ground ladders, when you look up, there you will find us.

The first compartment behind the jump seat on the Officer's side features various sized tarps.  Also not the easy access light box and pike pole near the turntable.

The 2nd compartment on the Officer's side is utilized for utility rope, a BLS Trauma Bag and and cervical collars.

The 3rd compartment on the Officer's side is utilized for ventilation fans - positive and negative as well as portable lighting.  The top mounted cabinet above features personal Search and Rescue bags.

The 4th compartment on the Officer's side features additional S&R bags, a cutting tool, saw and various forcible entry tools.

Compartment 5 is a transverse compartment and features the Stokes Basket and immobilization equipment, broom and shovel and battering ram

The first compartment after the Jump seats on the Driver's side feature the Accountability board, supply hose, adaptors and nozzle for the bucket gun.

The 2nd compartment on the Driver's side is where the controls are to operate the out-riggers and stabilizers.

.The 3rd Compartment on the Driver's side features spare SCBA cylinders and the controls for the 8-cylinder, 6,000 psi cascade system (located under the boom).

Compartment #4 features more saws, rope and electrical cords and the circuit breaker box

Tower 456 is equipped with breathing air to the bucket and for the boom operator.  Note

Additional tools are mounted on both sides of the Tower.

The bucket is capable of holding up to 1,000 lbs and features various truck company tools.  If necessary, the boom can be operated from the bucket.

Over 200' of ground ladders are easily accessible from the rear, underneath the bucket.
