At approx. 20:05 hrs. Mahanoy City Fire and Ems along with Frackville Ladder 4320 and Altamont RIT were dispatched to 36 W. South St. in the Borough for a house fire. Engine 454 & Tower 456 immediately responded from the fire school in Frackville and the Squad responded and arrived 2nd due from the station. Upon arrival the Squad crew performed searches of the structure and found a malfunctioning coal stove. Units were placed available shortly after. Capt 454 had command and station 454 responded with 23 personnel.
