At 0640 Mahanoy City EMS was dispatched in place of Ryan Twp. EMS to an accident with unknown injuries on SR54 in Ryan Twp..  BLS 4803 responded and arrived to find Rescue 26 on scene with a one car MVA.  The vehicle took out a utility pole and continued until it came to rest on the passenger side against a tree.  Passerby stated the patient got out of the vehicle and traveled into the woods on foot.  PSP requested all personnel stage on 54 until they located the individual who was possibly dangerous.  The crew staged on scene for approximately ten minutes prior to the patient being found by a responder who was traveling in the area.  Patient care was initiated and 4803 transported one.
