Welcome to the Citizens Fire Company #2 & Mahanoy City EMS 

 

We are located in the Borough of Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, PA. We are one of five stations that make up the Mahanoy City Fire Department and are designated Station 454. We also are the EMS provider to Mahanoy City and Mahanoy Twp. Our station operates three pieces of fire apparatus (Engine, Tower, Squad) and two BLS ambulances. 

Coverage is provided solely by volunteers except for one paid EMT on duty 24 hours a day 365 days a year. We currently have approximately 40 active volunteers who cover all of Mahanoy City and Mahanoy Township along with providing mutual aid throughout the region.

Our station is also part of the Mahanoy City Rapid Intervention Team. Tower 456 is due on all commercial RIT boxes along with other apparatus from Mahanoy City.
